Our Trial Gardens
Every variety we sell has been grown and evaluated in our own trial gardens before it earns a place in the Orchwood collection. We test for germination rates, vigor, disease resistance, and beauty — because we won't sell a product we wouldn't use ourselves.
Our trial gardens in Georgia allow us to evaluate performance across different conditions. We trial hundreds of varieties each year, but only the best make the cut.
